I am an artist, a traveler, connector, untier of knots, and teller of truths.
I believe in radical bodily autonomy.
I believe that you are your first priority.
I believe that every part of you has learned a valuable lesson about life here on Earth. We can cherish ALL of you.
I believe that REALITY BITES. Together we can bite back.
I believed that emotional maturity is possible without the loss of whimsy.

You want to live AND enjoy it. I want to help you get there.

Private Pay (cash or card) is ALWAYS best. Let me tell you why:
Greater privacy and confidentiality - Insurance plans require diagnosis and continual progress notation that they are at liberty to request from all therapists and doctors who are contracted with their plans. That means, in the era of mass surveillance, therapists have to be vigilant to protect clients in their notation to insurance companies.
No insurance-driven treatment limits - Some insurance companies place limits on number of sessions, types of acceptable diagnoses, and who can be present during your therapy session.
No concerns about treatment denials or insurance delays - Sometimes insurance companies are negligent with payment and reimbursement.
No surprise fees or charges - Your session fee is the only charge you’ll experience. No co-pays, no co-insurance. One and done.
The focus is on your wellbeing and your treatment, not a corporation’s whims. (This one is kinda self-explanatory, yes?)
BUT, Sagacity Counseling DOES accept several insurance plans. Why?
Access is important to me. No matter how you engage, I hope to be a support for you in whatever stages make sense. (IF you have a co-pay, that will be due at time of service.)
